Our Terms Of Engagement With Clients
Our robust network in the African geography, driven by our strong relationships with leading mines, mining communities, village local miners and refineries, enables efficient sourcing of gold metal in any desired quantity. To the Refineries, mining companies and mining communities, we help forge relationships with reputed buyers and enable an active market for their product. To the buyers, we act as their sourcing partner and implement their sourcing strategy in alignment with their demand planning. We ensure guaranteed product availability throughout the year while at the same time optimizing scalability, flexibility and efficiency.
We cater to all steps in supply chain management.
- Identifying a reliable source: -Based on volume requirement and the quality factors defined, we will assist our clients in identifying Mines/ Mining communities / Refineries in the African region, that has the capability to supply the gold dore bars in bulk quantity on a consistent basis. We will facilitate discussion between buyers and suppliers and help with negotiations regarding the price and terms of supply.
- Contract negotiation and documentation:-Once suppliers are identified, we will handhold our clients in physical verification of stocks and verification of all required documents. We all also assist them in negotiation and finalising the Sale and Purchase agreement with suppliers.
- Continuous monitoring and closer engagement with Supplier:-Post signing of the SPA contract, we will periodically coordinate with the Supplier, to ensure that the monthly consignments are shipped on time without any delay. We will ensure that all documents including the certificate of origin, certificate of ownership and customs documents are in order before shipment of each consignment. We will constantly engage with suppliers to work through their supply chain issues and support them in mitigating them, thereby ensuring regular inventory supply.
- Management and support:-We will act as our client’s representative at the origin point. We will closely work with the supplier and oversee every aspect related to movement of the commodity until it reaches our client’s destination at agreed time schedules.
- We will play the role of a mediator on all discussions with the seller.
- Whenever the need arises for physical verification of stock at the seller’s custody, we will handhold our client and make all required arrangements so that verification process happens smoothly.
- Many a time, sellers need financial assistance for arranging stock and for duty purposes etc. Wherever required, we will arrange necessary finance for the seller so that there assured stock is available for shipment on scheduled dates.
- We will handle all local requirements on our client’s behalf including documentation assistance. We will oversee and coordinate with the supplier to ensure all his responsibilities are managed efficiently – including conversion of granules to bars, arranging to secure the gold in secure warehouse/ security house, ensure proper security of the consignment, coordinate regarding taxes and insurance, arrange proper logistics, customs and liaising with other governmental agencies etc.
- Risk mitigation to ensure steady supply of inventory:- Owing to its unique nature and diversity, the African geography is uncertain and complex. We will look out for political, climatic or other potential situations in the geography that may hinder regular shipping of consignment. In situations where the contracted supplier is unable to continue with his committed delivery due to any reason, we will quickly identify alternate suppliers so that your scheduled supplies are not affected.
